Peruvian Palo Santo Sticks (Bursera graveolens)

Sustainably collected, natural Palo Santo sticks from Peruvian forests. Palo Santo is a wild, organic product native to South America where it is traditionally used as a smudging tool to purify and provide protection.

The aromatic smoke is potent, uplifting and refreshes a room's energy and aroma. Simply light one end, let it burn for 10-20 seconds then shake out the flame. To keep the sticks smoldering for longer, let the flame burn for 30-60 seconds.

Each stick is 4+ inches long and between 3/8 - 5/8 inches thick. Some sticks are very dense and resin laden too. Being a natural product, each stick is slightly different in appearance though all have a similar aroma.

Collecting Palo Santo from the forests is one way that the local population makes a living while not harming any trees. Aged wood is notably better in aroma than fresh cut material, plus it is illegal to cut living Palo Santo trees in Peru. Sustainable Palo Santo is the national standard in Peru.

This listing is for one 5-pack of highly aromatic Palo Santo sticks.
