Here is a blend for patchouli lovers. Three harmonious aromatic ingredients: The earthy, herbaceous green herb (Patchouli) at the lead with Cedar and Sandalwood at its sides. These natural incense sticks have a true patchouli scent, not an imitation and certainly not an outlandish perfume!

Instead of using dried patchouli leaves, we've opted for patchouli essential oil because it has a stronger, more pure aroma without the harsh smoke from burning leaves. We've included both the fresh green oil and the highly coveted dark aged oil for a complete Patchouli experience.

To put things into perspective, the average essential oil yield from patchouli leaves is 2.3% by weight, so each tube of 20 sticks contains the equivalent essential oil content of 3/4 lbs of dried leaves! As you can see, there is no lack of patchouli in this blend.

And I must say, this blend is the current house favorite, no matter what time of day.

These sticks are made in small batches from scratch using strictly natural ingredients which are: Sandalwood, Deodar Cedar, Patchouli Essential Oil, Makko

As will all of our incense, these sticks are made at the Nectar Cloud studio in Oregon. We use a manual extruder to make the sticks, then finish by hand using traditional techniques learned from careful study. After gently drying and curing, they are counted and packaged in beautiful mulberry paper tubes.

Since these are thick, coreless incense sticks without a bamboo splint, an incense burner with larger holes or vessel filled with sand is recommended for burning.
