Earthy, woody and mildly sweet resin with a pleasant after-aroma, reminiscent of caramelized sugar. This grade of Myrrh is considered to have a superior aroma, despite its homely appearance. Its much softer and less bitter than gum Myrrh.
This resin is very hard and requires a mechanical grinder to effectively powder it. Resin pieces range from 1/4" to 1" in diameter.
