A rich, sweet and fresh smelling copal resin. Blends well with a variety of incense bases, adding a touch of resinous sweetness and body. Interestingly, its aroma has similarities to Dragon's Blood resin.
When cleaned by rinsing with cool water or rubbing, many of these pieces are quite attractive for display. If you would like a larger piece for such purposes, please let me know in the comments and I'll do my best to accommodate.
Copal is traditionally burned for cleansing, offerings and spiritual protection. It is known as "young amber" since it has many years to go until its fully polymerized, the process that turns resin into hard amber.
These Copal pieces range in size between 1/4" and 3".
