Sandal Nagarmotha is our Ayurvedic medicinal incense formula made of Sandalwood, Nagarmotha, Jatamansi and Cloves.
The aroma of this incense can be described as woody, spicy, earthy and musky. Burning this incense creates a peaceful ambience and is highly suited for meditation, relaxation and relief of nervous tension.
The aromatic profile of Nagarmotha root (also called Cypriol or Nutgrass) has similar aspects of patchouli, vetiver and black pepper -- though with a unique scent of it's own. Jatamansi (also called Musk Root or Indian Spikenard) is used extensively in medicinal and monastery incense and is responsible for the earthy and musky notes.
